Was playing with the demo and I see the ability to tax by country, but here in U.S. I have to charge tax to those have a business in my home state, but not tax to those business address is out of state.

Additionally, tax is not charged on Domain registrations, even in my home state.

Can this system handle that?

We have option to collect tax within state of US.

http://demo.machsol.com/Admin/System/AddTaxZone.aspx

If you select United States in country list you will see an option to select State. If you do not select any state tax will be collected for all US clients. If you select state also and specify tax amount then tax will be collected on that rate from that state and for the rest of US states, if a tax rate is specified for US that rate will be charged.

The second question you asked "Additionally, tax is not charged on Domain registrations, even in my home state." is not handled but we can handle this also if more clients request this.
