    Create APIs for integration with third-party products planned

    I know that a good part of your business comes from custom development services for your existing clients in order to enable the integration of your products with third-party applications, but in my opinion this would work a lot better if you had some thoroughly documented APIs that would enable your clients integrate their own systems with your application.

    For example, there are a lot of people out there who use a CRM software for Sales, a separate HelpDesk software for Support and an independent Billing system usually built in house. All these applications usually integrate with each other through APIs and it would be great if they were able to integrate with the provisioning and management system too.

    Log a ticket as the customer planned

    How about having the ability to log a ticket on behalf of the customer? i.e. if they phone up. This can then be handled by 1st line and esculated if needed to an administrator

    Traffic graphing and billing overage planned

    Integrate traffic graphs into the device area so that each server or switch port can be tracked.

    If you were able to assign devices to customers and assign a given amount of bandwidth with a plan; ie: 1000 GB, 10 Mbps, etc. Then specify the cost for overage. We could automatically bill customers for their overage each cycle.

    Generic Data Import under review

    It would be very helpful to be able to import bulk data for setup. Some examples:
    1. Bulk Domains - set up domain with a hosting plan
    2. Bulk Email - import a list of email addresses, passwords, etc. Very helpful when migrating domains with a larger number of email accounts.

    Integration with Google Apps

    Want to be able to integrate and manage Google Apps for clients. Set up domain, set up email accounts, configure mx records, configure docs, calendar, etc. dns records from within the control panel.

    Device and IP management

    If there were a way to have asset management and tracking of devices such as servers, switches and other hardware in the data center that would be helpful. A way to assign hardware to customers, have custom fields, etc.

    IP management using CIDR so we can track the tens of thousands of IPs that are allocated to customers.

    Migration tools started

    How about creating migration tools for importing accounts from competitive products, like Parallels System Automation and Parallels Business Automation Enterprise?

    We are working on Migration tool-kits. In 1st phase Migration from Hosting Controller, HELM and Plesk will be available. Please stay tuned.

    MachPanel Provisioning System

    nice approch but cant it will support Enterprise applications like HMC4.5 and specialy Moss

    HMC 4.5 will be supported by end of Jan 2009. MOSS is already supported.

    Associate server with ticket

    Would it also be possible to add the ability to tick which server the customer is having problems with if they are a dedicated server customer? As a number of our customers have multiple servers.

    Helm Migration Toolkit?

    Guys, we need voting here to determine which version of Helm shall be given preference as we start writing migration toolkit. Shall it be Helm 3.x or Helm 4.x.

    Run all feature in service director

    Most of the subscriptions can be processed by eJadSPM Provisioning service which is running in background so most orders are processed automatically.

    We have improved addons support, you can now specify quantity of an addon to purchase and this will be provisioned using single click. The new addon support will be provided in July 2008.

    Offline orders

    Offline order form looks too clumsy and user 'un-friendly'. You have any plans for improving the offline form?

    Current offline order system is crude version for proof of concept. In the next releases we will improve the order form usability and looks.

    Default email template for new department

    It is a good idea to copy a set of default email templates when I create a new help desk department. I find this quite annoying that I have to manually copy template for each type of response into department's mail template.

    Email dispatch for new staff member

    When I add a staff member, the system should send an email to him with his login information. This will help me save time sending this info to my colleagues manually.

    Support Tickets Custom Fields

    We currently use Kayako, which allows us to specify custom details for specific departments. For example our email support department, requires the user to enter a email address that is associated to the query.

    Would it be possible to add this feature as it helps ensure the engineers have the correct details to resolve the problem quickly.

    Would it also be possible to add the ability to tick which server the customer is having problems with if they are a dedicated server customer? As a number of our customers have multiple servers.

    Authorise Charges

    How about being able to get the customer to approve a charge i.e. for work to thier server?

    How about the ability to track credits for server management?
    i.e. customer pays a monthly fee which buys them say 10 credits.

    When they request work to be done on the server the engineer estimates the number of credits required (Which could 30 minute slots?)

    The customer then approves, if they have enough credits the job is passed to an engineer if not. They are sent to a screen to buy more?

    Or is this more a custom module?

    Your thoughts?

    Customer Contacts

    It would be nice to be able to assign customer contacts for an account. As allot of our customers are SME's they have seperate departments for Accounts, Technical contacts etc.

    Guys, we need voting here to determine which version of Hosting Controller shall be given preference as we start writing migration toolkit. Shall it be HC 6.1 or HC 7.
